Aloe Vera Gel (Aloe barbandnesis):

 Aloe Vera gel aides in tissue repair, hydrates, and soothes the skin. Recent studies show Aloe Vera gel has the ability to accelerate cell growth of the skin. Aloe Vera is healing to all skin types, and has a natural moisturizing factor. Good for treating burns and cuts.

Apricot Kernel Oil (Prunus armeniaca):

Apricot Kernel oil is extremely nourishing to the skin, and excellent around the eyes and neck area. This oil is recommended for mature, sensitive, inflamed, irritated, or dry skin. This oil is similar to human sebum so it absorbs rapidly. It helps the skin retain elasticity, clarity, and suppleness. Apricot kernel oil leaves a softer feel to the skin, while reducing roughness and cracking.

Argan Oil (Argania Spinosa): 

Used for centuries by Moroccan women to restore skin, hair, and nails. One of the rarest oils in the world containing over 80 % essential fatty acids, and exceptionally rich in Vitamin E. A natural solution to defend against premature aging and UV exposure. Particularly effective against aging, dryness, skin inflammation, acne, and scars. Excellent anti-wrinkle treatment. Penetrates quickly with no greasy feeling. Provides essential moisture to the skin, helps repair skin tissue, and protects skin from the environment. 

Arrowroot Powder (Maranta arundinacea): 

A popular ingredient used in body lotions and creams to help moisture penetrate the skin.

Avocado Oil (Persea americana):

Avocado oil is rich, heavy, but penetrating oil that contains vitamins A, C, D and E and is full of nutritive and therapeutic properties. It softens the skin and is beneficial for dry skin, and eczema. It moisturizes, tightens, heals, and soothes the skin. It helps to diminish age spots, and nourishes aging and damaged skin. It is said to protect the skin from UV rays and helps to reduce scars.

Basil Essential Oil (Ocimum basilicum):

Basil essential oil provides stimulating, purifying, and soothing benefits. It has a refreshing tonic effect on the skin, which helps revive sluggish and congested skin. It helps to control acne, and may also prevent pores from becoming clogged.


One of the oldest and purest waxes, derived from the honeycomb of the bee. It is a natural emulsifier that produces few allergic reactions on the skin. Used as an emulsifier, emollient, and thickener, it forms a protective layer between your skin and the environment. Bees wax naturally helps seal moisture into the skin, while still allowing it to breathe.

Benzoin Resin Oil or tincture (Styrax benzoin): 

A thick orange-brown oil with an intensely warm, sweet balsamic fragrance. Aides in relieving dry, chapped skin. Good for inflamed and irritated skin conditions. A natural preservative.

Bergamot Essential Oil (Citrus bergamia):

Bergamot oil has a fresh, bright, citrus, sweet aroma that is very uplifting. Cool and refreshing has beneficial effects on oily skin conditions. Its antiseptic qualities help treat psoriasis, acne, and eczema. It is said to aid in the healing of damaged skin tissue. Do not use prior to going out into the sun.

Black Pepper Seed Oil (Piper nigrum):

Black pepper essential oil has a warming effect on the skin, which stimulates blood flow while reducing pain. Used in Chinese medicine for over 4000 years, it is beneficial for muscle aches and pains.

Borage Seed Oil (Borage officinalis):

Borage seed oil promotes healthy skin, it can help repair skin damage, and has a positive effect on many skin conditions. It has the highest known content of essential unsaturated fatty acids and extremely high gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) content. These are great skin conditioners and humectants that regulate the hydration of the skin. 

Calendula Tincture(Kalendae):

Calendula dates back to the days of the ancient Egyptians. Today it remains one of the most popular herbs for skin care products. This extract is derived from the common marigold flower that heals, soothes, and restores damaged skin. Treats acne, reduces inflammation, and calms irritated tissue. It is emollient with softening effect on hair and skin. Safe in products for babies and people with sensitive skin.

Chamomile, Roman Essential Oil/Extract (Chamomilla Recutita):

Chamomile is considered by many to be one of the world’s most soothing herbs. It’s sweet, herbal, and fruity scent promotes relaxation is calming, and balancing, both physically and psychologically. It has excellent healing and pain relieving properties and is a very powerful anti-inflammatory. Chamomile has comforting, soothing, and mild characteristics that are beneficial for treating dermatitis, eczema, acne and rashes. It is especially effective in treating hypersensitive skin, dry itchy skin, and improves elasticity.

Camphor, White Essential Oil (Cinamomum camphora):

Is cooling and highly stimulating to the skin, opens blocked nasal passages, and relieves pain and stiffness. Used primarily in lip balms, muscle rubs, and bath soaks. It can also be used as a skin conditioner, muscle relaxant, and helps care for oily skin. 

Carrot Seed Extract/Oil (Daucas carota):

This oil's aroma is sweet, yet dry and earthy. It is rich in beta-carotene and Vitamin A, making it beneficial for healthy skin and hair. It is believed to stimulate cell renewal, improve circulation, repair and tone the skin, balance sebum, increase elasticity, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and scars. It helps protect the skin exposed to extreme weather conditions and is one of the best essential oils for dry and mature skin. 

Castile Soap:

A mild and gentle soap made from a variety of saponifed oils used in face and body washes. No harsh chemicals, additives, colorants, and surfactants, just pure derivatives from plant sources. 

Castor Oil (Ricinus communis)

A rich and soothing oil to the skin, creates a barrier and protects against harsh conditions. It is an excellent emollient and is used for extremely dry skin.


Cedarwood, Atlas Essential Oil (Cedrus Atlantica): 

Cedarwood essential oil has a lingering aroma that can elevate mood and often used in meditation. Antiseptic and astringent, fungicide, and emollient properties; helps to combat oily skin and related problems like acne, dermatitis, and psoriasis. 

Cinnamon Essential Oil (Cinnamon zeylanicum):

A pale to dark yellow liquid with a sweet, warm-spicy scent. It has a calming and sedating effect, is anti-inflammatory, and antiseptic. Has a mild astringent effect on the skin, soothes and cools the skin, tightening loose tissues. 

Cinnamon Bark Extract (Cinnamomum cassia):Cinnamon has antibacterial properties, and acts as a natural preservative. 

Citric Acid:

This natural alpha hydroxy acid is derived from a variety of citrus fruits. Its main function is to adjust the pH level to prevent personal care formulas from becoming too alkaline. It also acts as a mild acidic preservative and gentle exfoliant for skin.  

Clary Sage Essential Oil (Salvia sclaria):

A strong, nutty, and heavy fragrance that is calming to both the body and the mind. Clary Sage helps to balance the production of sebum, clearing oily complexions, and controlling skin conditions like acne. It can be useful in toners and makeup removers. 

Clove Essential Oil (Eugenia caryophyllata):

The sweet, spicy and warm aromatic oil is effective as an antiseptic. It helps to speed recovery from skin conditions, which makes it useful in treating cuts, sores, etc. Has a wonderful fragrance and blends well with many essential oils. Aids in healing and is beneficial in many products.

Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao):

Helps soothe, hydrate, and balance the skin; boosts skin's collagen production, which helps combat wrinkles and other signs of aging. It also softens and lubricates the skin, reduces dryness, and improves skin flexibility. Used in applications to prevent dry, chapped skin, helps to treat skin irritations, and helps to prevent stretch marks in pregnant women.


An anionic Surfactant derived from coconut oil, this ingredient softens and moisturizes skin and hair. It produces a mild foam that is also a lipid layer enhancer to prevent defatting and drying out of the skin. Is very mild on the skin, non-irritating, made from coconut and glucose. It is biodegradable, does not harm the environment, and is manufactured from completely renewable vegetable raw materials.

Coconut Milk Powder (Cocos Nucifera):

Coconut milk has a high content in fats, the powder is a luxurious option for facial masques. It aides in the moisturizing and softening the skin.


Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifers): 

Coconut oil is a wonderful moisturizer and has many healing qualities. This light oil is non-greasy, very emollient, and cooling. A great moisturizer, it serves as a protective layer on the skin, helping to retain moisture, and improve the quality of aged or dry skin. Used to promote lather in soaps and gels, may be incorporated well into balms and stick formulations. 

Coffee Butter:

This soft butter has a rich tan color and smells like strong coffee, it has been found to be a powerful antioxidant. Coffee Butter offers natural protection from ultraviolet light and is becoming a popular ingredient in sunscreen products. Coffee butter is rich in phytosterols, which promote excellent moisture retention, quick penetration, and good adherence in cosmetics. Coffee Butter exhibits excellent spreadability, making it ideal as a body butter or balm.

Comfrey Root Powder/Extract (Symphytum officinal):

It is believed that Comfrey Root is a cellular regenerator with anti-scarring properties. Contains allantoin, which heals and regenerates aging tissue. The extract had been used to treat sunburns. It is also effective in treating eczema and dry skin, and is beneficial for all skin types. It is also used in anti-aging formulas.

Cranberry Seed Oil (Vaccinium macrocarpon):

Contains a high level of essential fatty acids making it an excellent emollient, lubricant, and conditioner for the skin. It contributes to the lipid barrier protection of the skin and assists in moisture retention. A good moisturizing addition to any formula, great for creams or lotions for rough, dry, or mature skin. Some sources say it aids in the relief of scaly, itching skin conditions, and may be helpful for both eczema and psoriasis.

Eucalyptus Essential Oil (Eucalyptus globulus):

It has an extremely fresh, clean, and sharp fragrance. It stimulates circulation, clears congested skin, increases concentration, and is useful for relieving joint and muscle aches and pains. Used to treat infections, soothes burns, cuts, wounds, and eases muscular pains. Used in liniments and ointments.

Evening Primrose Oil (Oenothera biennis):

This oil is rich in gamma lioleic acid (GLA), omega 3, and omega 6 fatty acids, which are excellent for nourishing the skin. This oil soothes inflammation and is moisturizing and softening; highly recommended for eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea. It helps relieve dry, scaly or itchy skin and may also help prevent pores from becoming clogged. Evening Primrose is full of vitamins and minerals and helps to repair damaged skin, helps keep the skin healthier, softer, and smoother. Excellent for reducing the fine lines of aging.

Fennel Seed Extract/Oil (Foeniculum vulgare):

This essential oil is a good cleansing oil and useful in detoxification; can be used as a gentle cleanser and skin toner to help soothe mildly irritated skin. Fennel increases the elasticity of the skin, it is anti-wrinkle, anti-aging, and has a tightening effect on the skin. It disinfects and aides in healing wounds, eczema, and damaged skin; tones and rejuvenates all skin types, especially mature skin. Used in creams or lotions, it is believed to be helpful for enlivening a dull complexion, clearing oily skin, and fighting wrinkles. 

Fir Needle Essential Oil (Pinus balsamea):

This essential oil has a sweet and woody fragrance. It is known for its soothing and calming action and its refreshing fragrance. Helps skin to look rejuvenated, refreshed, and radiant. This oil is uplifting, warm, and soothing to muscle aches and joint conditions, also helps increase circulation. 

Fractionated Coconut Oil (Caprylic capric trigclyeride):

Ours is an organic form of coconut oil where steam distillation is used to separate the fatty acids, leaving only saturated oils. This gives Fractionated coconut oil a very stable shelf life, and a silky smooth feeling on the skin. 

Frankincense Essential Oil (Baswellia carterii):

This ancient oil is known for its aromatic qualities that are fresh and sharp with deep woody-citrus like fragrance. Used in Ancient Egypt for face masks and cosmetics. Frankincense is both regenerative and astringent. It is excellent for aging skin and the treatment of wrinkles. It tones the skin and promotes new cell generation. Promotes healing and reduces swelling of wounds and sores. 

French Green Clay:

Is the richest in mineral composition and is the most drawing of all clays available. Allows for a greater absorption of impurities, dust, oils, and cosmetics. It is great for purifying oils from the skin. It also tones and stimulates the skin, revitalizes the complexion and tightens pores. Excellent in facial masks; helps to clear the skin and trouble spots.

Fullers Earth Clay:

It removes oil and impurities from the skin and produces a lighting effect on the skin; recommended for those with acne problems, blemishes, and people prone to oily skin. 

Geranium Essential Oil (Pelargonium graveolens):

Geranium has a flowery, rosy, sweet, and strong fragrance. This oil is used to soothe, soften and balance dry skin. It can be used in a blended massage oil or bath formula to assist with stress, anxiety, eczema, and circulation. In a cream or lotion, it can be used for all skin types. It helps balance the sebum production of the skin and in turn, helps keep the skin supple. Has powerful healing qualities for the skin, and is a natural preservative.

Ginger Essential Oil (Zingiber officianalis):

This essential oil has a dry, spicy aroma, which is sharper and spicier as it evaporates, leaving a lingering sweetness. Warms and soothes aches and pains in muscles, improves poor circulation and improves energy. Ginger is anti-inflammatory and useful in muscle creams.

Pink Grapefruit Essential Oil (Citrus paradisi):

Grapefruit essential oil has a zesty and fresh fragrance, bittersweet with a soft, powdery after note. Also has an antiseptic and astringent property that aide in treating acne, congested and oily skin. Also has a toning effect on the skin and tissues. Good for stress relief. 

Grape Seed Oil (Vitis vinifera):

The lightest of oils, is virtually odorless, a penetrating oil for massage or aromatherapy applications. This oil is easily absorbed by the skin and is a nourishing addition to lotions, creams, lip balms, and wonderful in formulations for around the eyes and neck. Great for dry, damaged, or aging skin. It is noted for its great skin moisturizing properties, as well as, regenerative and restructuring benefits. 


Hazelnut Seed Oil (Corylus avellana):

Extracted from hazelnuts, this light, penetrating and slightly astringent oil is good for acne prone skin. It is packed with nourishing vitamins, minerals and proteins; soothing and healing to dry, irritated skin. Great for cosmetics and natural skin care products that need to penetrate the skin without leaving a greasy feel.

Jasmine Absolute Oil (Jasminum grandiflorum):

Jasmine has an intensely rich, warm, floral scent and is very gentle and nontoxic. Commonly used in perfumes, and aromatherapy as a mood enhancer. This oil is good for treating dry, sensitive, or irritated skin. 

Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia chinensis):

Jojoba carrier oil is cold pressed from the nuts of the Jojoba tree. Native Americans have been using Jojoba for centuries. Jojoba oil is non-greasy and absorbs right into the skin. This oil contains protein and minerals, and has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It is highly penetrating because it closely resembles the skin's natural sebum. It can be used to help lighten and heal scars, reduce wrinkles, and stretch marks. It is also used to aide in relief of dry or oily skin. If the skin has an overproduction of sebum, jojoba oil will dissolveclogged pores. It has excellent protective and moisturizing properties giving skin a silky, smooth feel.

Juniper Berry Essential Oil (Juniperus communis):

This essential oil has a fresh, woody aroma. Juniper oil can be used in massage oils or diluted in the bath to reduce the appearance of cellulite, relieve arthritic pain, or comfort tired muscles. It can also be useful in the treatment of oily skin and acne, weeping eczema, blocked pores, psoriasis and other inflammatory skin ailments.

Kukui Nut Oil (Aleurites moluccana):

Pressed form the nut of the tropical Kukui tree. Wonderful for sensitive skin, mature, damaged, and wrinkled skin. Aids in softening and restructuring the skin. High in essential fatty acids vital for the metabolism of healthy skin. Kukui nut oil is easily absorbed by the skin. A wonderful massage oil. Has been used by the Hawaiians for thousands of years for dry skin, psoriasis, and acne.


Kaolin Clay: 

This is the mildest of all clays. It helps stimulate circulation while gently exfoliating and cleansing the skin. It does not draw oils, and therefore can be used on dry and sensitive skin. It is naturally absorbent and effective in skin masks, body packs, and skin care products.

Lavender Essential Oil (Lavandula angustifolia):

Lavender essential oil is one of the most widely known oils having a soft, sweet, floral scent. Used in aromatherapy for its calming and soothing fragrance. It fosters regeneration of new skin cells, purifies and soothes inflamed skin. Lavender oil tones, heals, and revitalizes skin, is useful in treating all types of skin problems such as acne, oily skin, cuts, sun burns, wounds, and sore skin.

Lecithin, Liquid & Powder (Glycine max):

Lecithin is a waxy like ingredient derived from soybeans. It acts as an emulsifier and thickening agent for cosmetic products and improves a products shelf life by acting as a mild preservative. Used in both forms of liquid or powder, its antioxidant benefits and naturally emollient. It moisturizes, softens and smoothes, and helps to hydrate the skin.

Lemon Fruit Essential Oil (Citrus limonium):

This essential oil has a clean, sharp, uplifting scent. In skin care formulas, this botanical can help oily complexions and fights skin blemishes.

Lemon Peel Oil/Extract (Citrus Medica limonium):

Extracted from the fresh peel of lemons, lemon peel extract contains vitamin C. This ingredient is very nutritious and is used in skin care products to help attain youthful skin. It is astringent and cleansing, when applied to oily skin can help reduce and balance sebum production. Also stimulates and enlivens the skin; and can be used to treat acne. 

Lemongrass Essential Oil (Cymbopogon citratus):

This oil has a very strong lemon sherbet aroma that is zesty and sweet. Lemongrass is a mild astringent and is used for clearing up oily skin and acne.

Lime Essential Oil (Citrus aurantifolia):

This oil energizes, rejuvenates, and refreshes the spirit. Lime is often used in body washes and shampoos due to its cleansing properties and uplifting fragrance. Externally used as an astringent to brighten dull skin, useful in clearing oily congested skin. Good for a toner and believed to improve circulation.

Macadamia Nut Seed Oil (Macadamia ternifolia):

Macadamia nut oil is similar to natural sebum, the oil naturally produced by human skin to protect it. Absorbs well and quickly into the skin, is highly emollient and soothing. It revitalizes dry and aging skin, and helps reduce fine lines. It is also an effective antioxidant. 

Mandarin Essential Oil (Citrus nobilis):

Mandarin has a sweet citrusy fragrance and is useful on oily congested skin. Mandarin is often used as a soothing scent in soaps, cosmetics and perfumes; it helps reduce the appearance of stretch marks, scars, spots, and improve circulation. It is also good as a toner and for stress.

Mango Seed Butter (Mangifera indicia):

It has excellent moisturizing properties with high antioxidant content, and is believed to help against UV damage. This butter has natural emollient properties, and is useful for treating burns, stretch marks, and scars. It can help with skin regeneration and may help smooth wrinkles and restore elasticity. Mango butter demonstrates to be an excellent moisturizer and has lubricating skin benefits; great for lotions, balms, sticks, and other skin care products. 

Marjoram Essential Oil (Origanum marjorana):

Marjoram has a warm, woody, and heavy aroma, and is one of the most sedating , calming, and warming oils. A strong anti-oxidant, and a natural preservative. It helps to improve circulation, soothes aches and pains, and relieves anxiety and stress. 

Meadowfoam Oil (Limnanthes alba):

It re-moisturizes the skin in ways no other oil can. In shampoos and soaps it adds shine and moisture to the hair and scalp. In lip sticks and balms it helps revitalize dry, cracked lips and they stay moist longer. It is stable and resistant to oxidation and deterioration, meaning that it is a key ingredient to extend the shelf life in cosmetics and body care products. 

Menthol Liquid (Mentha Arvensis): 

Colorless crystals are steam distilled from peppermint oil.  It has a powerful peppermint aroma. When applied to the skin, it gives a cooling sensation and acts as an analgesic by numbing the nerves after it cools; it is often incorporated into muscle rub ointments.  In skin care products menthol is added to help balance the oil content of skin and hair. 

Myrrh Essential Oil (Commiphora myrrah): 

Myrrh oil has a dry, sharp and subtle aroma, it helps heal chapped, dry- cracked skin, as well as eczema. This is an excellent ingredient to use on older more mature skin, as well as very stressed, dehydrated and dry skin. It works in a very short period of time to remove toxins, balances hydration, and promotes general tissue repair. It has excellent anti-aging and anti-wrinkle properties.

Neem Oil (Azadica indica):

Moisturizing, regenerative, and antibacterial properties useful in a number of skin and body products. Can be added to soaps for its antibacterial properties. It is useful for skin care such as acne treatment, eczema, psoriasis, dandruff, and keeping skins elasticity. Also useful as a natural preservative in skincare products.

Neroli Essential Oil (Citrus aurantium):

This essential oil has a beautiful soft floral and citrus aroma. Neroli is known to stimulates new cell growth and improve elasticity. It may help prevent acne, scarring, and stretch marks. It is particularly beneficial to dry, irritated or sensitive skin. This ingredient regulates sebum production, minimizes the appearance of enlarged pores and helps to clear acne and blemished skin, especially if the skin lacks moisture. With regular treatment, it may help reduce the appearance of fragile or broken capillaries and varicose veins.


Oat kernels are ground to produce this ingredient rich in moisturizing, humectant, and anti-oxidant properties. It exfoliates, cleanses, moisturizes and even fights ultraviolet rays. Both the oil and the peel are used to help stimulate circulation, clear blemishes and assist in the release of toxins from dull or blemished skin. Makes skin more vibrant and supple. The peel is used as a natural chemical exfoliater in facial washes and scrubs. 

Oregano Essential Oil (Origanum vulgare):

One of the most powerful soothing essential oils, it is an excellent natural preservative for skincare products. 

Palmarosa Essential Oil (Cymbopogon martini):

A soft and gentle rose-like aroma, which soothes and calms irritated skin, acne, eczema, and dermatitis. It improves the facial complexion in all skin types, especially combination and mature skin. Extremely effective in hydrating the skin and balancing the skin's own sebum production.

Palm Stearic Acid:

Is used as a stabilizer and thickener for emulsions. It encourages a creamy texture and sheen to products.  

Patchouli Essential Oil (Pogostemon patchouli):

Has a rich, spicy, and earthy aroma, it is good as a stress reliever, it tightens pores, and helps combat wrinkles. It helps regulate oily skin, which makes it a good additive for acne treatments. It helps to soothe cracked, chapped, dry skin, eczema, and improves the complexion of mature and dry skins.

Peppermint Essential Oil (Mentha piperita):

Peppermint oil has a fresh, zesty and minty aroma, known for its soothing and stimulating qualities. It is believed to help relieve headaches and mental fatigue. It has a warming effect on the skin that can help relax sore, tired muscles. This pure essential oil is often used in aromatherapy blends because of its wonderful stimulating fragrance.

Peru Balsam Essential Oil (Myroxylon balsamum): 

 Peru Balsam has a rich, sweet, balsamic, "vanilla-like" fragrance. It helps to ease dry, chapped skin, eczema, rashes and wounds. Also good for sensitive skin.

Petitgrain Essential Oil (Citrus aurantium):

It has a fresh, flowery, lightly citrus scent it is relaxing and revitalizing. It is effective as a gentle cleanser, suitable for oily or acne prone skin. It tones, refreshes, and balances oily and combination skins. 

Red Raspberry Seed Oil (Rubus idaeus):

Is high in Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids. It's an antioxidant that contains 83% essential fatty acids. It has high levels of vitamin A and E, which play an important role in skin repair and conditioning. Provides great moisture retention for the skin. Highly moisturizing and emollient, it has stronger anti-inflammatory properties than other similar oils.
